&lt;br /&gt;
In the construction of galvanic batteries, when it is desired to obtain electric quantity, it is common to enlarge the batteries and also to increase the decomposition of the metals and electrolytes. It is also common to use open porous cups or cells of different materials, which allow a free admixture of the liquids. 
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The object of- my invention is— 
&lt;br /&gt;
 - First, to prevent the mixture of the liquids almost entirely, and, at the same time, obtain an electric quantity even superior to that obtained by an equal-sized open cup. 
&lt;br /&gt;
 - Second, to obtain an increase of electric quantity with less decomposition and of long and steady action.  
&lt;br /&gt;
 - Third, to economize in material and in the time and labor of attention required to keep the battery in good working order. 
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The nature of my invention consists—
&lt;br /&gt;
 - First, in the division of the electric current in the exciting liquid by means of a glazed cup or cell, or a cup or cell made of any suitable porous substance, such as bonnet-board or wood, covered with any impervious material having fine lines cut into it so as to leave exposed porous surfaces between the impervious surfaces, which will cause, an attraction (according to an electric law) between the different parts of the action, thereby producing a large increase in the several quantities of the divisions on each other; that is to say, if there are two or more division lines or spaces on the surface of the cup or cell, and the quantity of one line is measured by the magnetometer, the second line -will indicate an increase until the ultimate quantity will be equal to the capacity of the liquids and the tension to carry that quantity. 
&lt;br /&gt;
- Second, in reducing the area or quantity of these lines to the smallest limit, and making one or more rings on the exterior of one or more cups or cells, and uniting their quantities so as to cause their separate quantities to double on each other.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
To enable others skilled in the art to understand my invention, I will describe its construction and operation. In carrying out my invention I do not confine myself to any particular form or size of cup, cell, or plate, nor to any particular size or number of lines, rings, or open spaces on the surface thereof, observing only such a relation between the spaces and liquids as will produce the desired result. 
&lt;br /&gt;
The divisions may he effected by means of separate cups, either in the same liquid or in separate liquids. Dilute sulphuric acid will not act properly with one liquid, as this acid requires separate liquids and elements in order that the several elements shall double on each other. In practice I shall generally use a hydrogen absorbing liquid, such as the sulphate of copper or nitric and uitro-sulphuric acids, and a glazed earthen cup or cell, or a cup or cell made of- bonnet-board or of wood coated with a varnish made of beeswax and resin. I cut through the glazing,or varnish on the cup A so as to leave anuular or spiral lines 6, fig. 3, thus allowing a divided action of the current through the cup. Instead of the cut lines and glazed cup a wire may be wound spirally around an unglazed cup, and thus produce a division of the current. I prefer, however, as a matter of economy, to use the glazed cup or its equivalent, cut as described. The area of the lines &amp;amp; is made larger or smaller, according to the amount of electric quantity required. If this quantity be too small, as in telegraphing and other like purposes, the lines or rings 6 should be as small as'possible—in fact,- there need be but a tow punctures through the glazing. And when two more such cups are connected as one. element, the quantity of the several elements will double on each other the same as the several rings or lines &amp;amp; in one cup will do. If the lines, rings, or punctures are small enough in the cups, a telegraph battery of great force may be run for several mouths, or even a year, or more, without any attention. In fact, any common glazed earthenware is sufficiently porous, without rings, lines, or punctures made through their glazing, to yield sufficient current for most purposes, especially for main telegraph batteries ; or even a glass cup may be substituted for the glazed cup, in which case the action passes over the moist top of the cup and through the pores of the glass. But, in any kind or form of cup or cell, it is more economical to use one or more cups either placed in one cup with the negative solution around them, or by uniting them as separate batteries, so that their several quantities will double or tend to double on each other. Instead of glazing the cups, it is quite as well to form the lines or divisions 1) by means of varnish or beeswax, or the ends of the cups may be dipped into beeswax, thus more or less closing them, so as to prevent the mixture of the liquids and allow a steady and long-continued action, such as is adapted to telegraphing or any of the common uses of electric currents. The closing of the cups or cells in this manner is very important— 
&lt;br /&gt;
 - First, because the liquids are left separate, and consequently the positives are prevented from wasteful decomposition. 
&lt;br /&gt;
 - Second, where the action is divided it causes a doubling of the equal quantities on cacli other without increasing the decomposition.
&lt;br /&gt;
 - Third, it is important for the reason that when separate elements are combined as one, and when the lines or divisions, as described, are proportionate to the required current, each-element added as quantity not only doubles its own quantity and the quantity of the other elements combined with it, but it also diminishes the decomposition, so that by a sufficient number of separate elements large-quantity currents may be supported for along time by the latent quantity in the battery being retained by the insulation of the cups; that is to say, if six elements, properly balanced, run • with a given quantity for, say, one clay, then the seventh element added will cause the combined elements to yield that quantity for two days, and the eighth element will increase the time to four days. Each additional element will thus double the time or endurance of the battery, provided the quantity of the separate elements are correspondingly diminished by closing their surfaces, also provided the negative surfaces
&lt;br /&gt;
and liquids are of sufficient capacity. In all dilute acids at is necessary to use plenty of carbon surface; platinum will not answer well except in strong acids, as the hydrogen adheres to its surface, and therefore lowers the tension and the quantity of the current. The use of carbon will obviate this difficulty, and it'may be used either in the form of a plate, a cylinder, or a cup, the latter being preferable for convenience. When two or more elements are connected to form a doubling base, they should be boiled in beeswax until they will be impervious to the liquids and not interfere with the conduction thereof. The action of this battery is the same- as the common galvanic battery, except by its divided condition ; • the quantity of current is greatly superior to the quantity of the decomposition of the positive metal used. In the drawing the cups A are represented in vessels B, which are arranged around a central cup, 0, for support. The positive metal strips I) are contained in the cups B. All the cups are applied in a large vessel, G. The carbon bars a are in the cups A, and suitably connected to the strips D by wires, so as to produce the effect of tension.

&lt;br /&gt;
Having described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is— 
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
1. A cup or cell A for a galvanic battery, constructed substantially as described, and for the purposes set forth. 
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
2. Two or more similar elements, combined in the manner and for the purpose specified.

We travel from A to B
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
During our trip we accelerate by a given amount.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The time won by accelerating strongly depends on our initial speed.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
If we moved from a to b with a speed of Zero km/hr the acceleration would have infinite impact on our arrival time.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
If we move from A to B with the speed of sound we would need serious acceleration to significantly reduce the time it takes.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
For our motor it means  the  best speed to accelerate at is the lowest possible speed.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
If we pulse the rotation say 1 time per 360 degrees we have 1 degree of gain and 359 degrees of loss.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The rotor is allowed to slow down much longer. The flip side of the coin is that friction also increases at higher speeds.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
So if we take the average speed of this pulse cycle we can only find that the work done by the pulse is far greater in proportion as the rpm's lead out.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The pulse is simply accelerating to a far greater speed as it is actually rotating around.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Applying 360 (three hundred and sixty) pulse coils would require significantly less power to sustain.
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
If one would apply thousands of coils there wouldn't be any time left to decelerate at all.

In more realistic configurations you can view the above as trying to get the amperage into the rpm's as steady as possible.

I have no problem assuming the common understanding this would be in unity is flawed. In fact there are always mutiple energy transfers from each body and inside the body it self. Breaking the law is not nesasary, even an infinite storage device would be fantastic. I know it sounds stupid but we are looking for the sum of the parts to be bigger as the total. Up to now engineers have engineered static and resonant effects out of the devices. This doesn't mean they have disapeared tho. You know air changes temprature, you know there is huge potential there. It just depends on how cheap you can envision making such enourmous generator. I insist we show proper respect to mister Gary. Let's give ourselves a break about the climate. There are probably already many inventions that could replace the burning of fossile fuels for energy generation. I have a friend somewhere who does have such an invention. He is an engineer in electronics who in the 80's discovered a way to transform the mass of an electronic circuit into energy. I remember showing to a large company in my country -in an effort to help him get his baby off the ground- a small motor the size of a matchbox with an equally small sized dynamo attached to it, and a tiny flywheel that once you turned it would not stop, until you did so forcefully by holding your finger against it. And since there was still some energy left running in the tiny chip of his design attached to this little prototype, it would start up running right away again if you let go of it fast enough. Unless you held it still for a full second or two.

The company had signed a contract for my friend -which stated that an independent scientist would look at it and give his verdict, before getting down to the brass tack contract- and all he had to do was sign it also, and if what he had turned out to be for real, the sky was the limit, they said. Plus he would get all the necessary lab facilities needed to develop his work.

Instead of signing the contract he went to his government with it and used it as a lever to get them to help him, since he wanted to donate his invention to his -relatively- poor country. They have plenty of oil -administrated by the government- but the people in general are still living in poverty. I told him that his government was most likely not going to help him -having all that money coming in from the oil- but he thought I was a foreigner trying to get his invention for my rich country, depriving his poor country of something they should benefit from themselves. (What nationalistic indoctrination can do... :shocked:)

The government now had to give my friend the impression of really helping him, to have him stay there, and not go abroad and develop it for real. So he got a lab and two mechanics from them who helped him develop a mall electric car with his invention applied to it. The only thing was that it had to run on battery power -not to ruin the oil industry in one go- they had said.

After six months he had an electric three wheel car, in which he gave me a tour inside the facilities the government had given him. It had his invention and a pack of ten motorcycles batteries in it. The circuit would receive power from the batteries, use that to convert a tiny fraction of the mass of the circuit -which did not have to be a chip- into energy, consuming itself slowly -which could take years- and utilize the resulting extra energy to give the car a much greater radius of action than it would have without his circuit. A completely self-feeding system -as the small prototype I had running for a week non stop in my house during the time I was dealing with the company- he was not to use for this car.

In the corner of his workshop I saw something covered by a large plastic sheet. Lifting it up -out of curiosity- I discovered a metal frame in the shape of a car. My friend laughed. &amp;quot;Yes,&amp;quot; he explained, &amp;quot;I have started the second phase of the development. I am going slowly, not to scare the government, but this one is going to have a radius of action of five hundred kilometers with the same battery pack. After that I'll make one that goes a thousand, then one that goes two thousand, and so on, till finally the fifth one will be utilizing the self-feeding design. But that is still in the future. The government doesn't know I already started on this second car.&amp;quot;

I remained skeptical about his government really letting him follow his plan, but he took that as an affront by a foreigner on his beloved country.

As soon as the government new that he not only had already finished the first car, but was working a second one, they squeezed the money flow, and told him to develop six street lights for the facilities -part of a technical high school- with solar panels, batteries and his circuit. I had not been in contact with him for halve a year, so I didn't know this until I called him to hear how he was doing. My friend was desperate, and began to believe that my skepticism was grounded, although he never told me that openly. But he showed it by coming to see me in the mountains were I lived and asking me to go see the company in my country again. He gave me the now also by him signed contract to take along, plus another small prototype to prove once more that his circuit really worked. It was a LED that could be either directly connected to an AA sized battery -which was so depleted that it would not make the LED burn- or to his circuit between that battery -which still had a tiny amount of energy in it to feed his circuit- and the LED, and so make the LED burn, showing that his circuit actually transformed part of itself into enough energy feeding the LED to accomplish that burning. &amp;quot;They can use their own battery, of course,&amp;quot; he told me, &amp;quot;and shorten it until it is so depleted that it won't make the LED burn. Then let them connect the circuit to the battery and the LED, and it will burn. They'll also will see that connecting the LED to the circuit without the battery won't make the LED burn. I called my friend, and told him that I would help him find a company in his own country for him, and would be returning soon. I heard some unusual clicking sounds when I called him, and thought of being tapped. But then I thought that I let seeing too many B movies get the best of me, and forgot about it. But when I saw my friend again in a restaurant close to my hotel in the capital of his country, right after my arrival there, this is what happened: We had barely started talking when suddenly a huge man entered the restaurant, came to our table, sat across from me next to my friend, introduced himself to me -only giving his first name- and wrapped his big arm around the shoulders of my friend.

The end of the story is that he had to forget about serious applications of his invention, and that I had to stop helping him. One day, a few years later, when my friend was working with a company which made transformers for the government, he and I had spend a weekend together out in the country. Returning to the building were he lived and had his lab and workshop, we remained in his car to chat a little more before getting out. After a while two men came out of the door of the building a little ahead of us, and crossing the quiet street walked over to a car, got in and drove off. &amp;quot;Those two men are working for the CIA.&amp;quot; my friend commented, &amp;quot;One of them is an ex admiral, the other a scientist. The only reason I don't give any names and details is because that country -apart from this one incident- has been very good to me. I lived there for many years. Anyone can see that whole wars are being organized by oil, so don't be so naive as not to believe that what I wrote is not exactly what happend. I am serious.

Maybe you guys would like to know a few thing more about this discovery:

The device I had in my house the first time looked like this. The whole thing was painted black, except for the surface under the base and the little flywheel on top of the device. The base was a metal cap -open side down- probably from a jar or something like that, and in the open space under it was a tiny black epoxy square containing the chip. This little square -maybe 3 x 3 mm, and paper thin- was held in place by two short thin wires that came out of a small hole in the ceiling of the base. On top if this base was the toy motor and on top of that a equally small dynamo. All you had to do was give a good whirl to the small flywheel, and the thing would keep spinning real fast until you stopped it with your finger for a bit more than a second, otherwise it would rev right up again, as I said above. It was not very powerful of course, as the motor was just one of those you find in small toys or in a hobby shop for small scale models. But it definitely had enough of power to feel it when you held your finger against it to slow it down.

The only thing special about it was the microcircuit. I could not see it because of the black epoxy, which covered the chip to avoid it being seen directly by the company I was to show it to, although my friend said that with special equipment they would easily able be to see the inside of it, so I was not to give them an opportunity for that. My friend explained that by spinning the flywheel the dynamo turned, which fed the circuit with electric current. This current the chip used to do something with the orbits of the electrons in its process, which would generate extra energy. This energy did not consist of a stream of electrons -it was not electric- but could be measured by a dynamometer. Yet it could be converted to electricity, and so what left the circuit finally was an electric current which consisted of a combination of the original current from the dynamo, plus that generated by the process of the circuit. So more came out than went in. But the circuit would consume itself, converting its own mass into this unknown energy, which was then transformed into electricity. He admitted to me that he did not know exactly what this energy was. He had just given it a name with -amongst others- a few letters of &amp;quot;orbit&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;electron&amp;quot; in it. He said that fission and fusion were not the only ways to convert mass into energy, and that he had simply just discovered another way. There was nothing 'strange' about it, although the told me that when he saw it work for the first time, he felt as if he were standing at the edge of reality, wondering what was real and what was not.

There was no contamination produced of any kind. Just during those days that the device was in my house to be shown to the company, I was invited to a Christmas party by a good lady friend. There were maybe twenty or so people there, all sitting in a circle on a huge afghan carpet in her large room. They were waiting for my friend to pass them their dinner plate with food, and were all talking to each other. I asked for a moment of their attention, and told them that I had brought something that was kind of an important new invention with me to show it to them, and told them that it had no battery in it, as I opened the metal cookie tin it was kept in, spun the little flywheel, and handed it to the person on my left. He looked at it for a moment, and passed it on. Thus it passed around the circle, while everyone kept talking to each other, receiving their plates, and began to eat. After about ten minutes it had completed the circle, but hardly any attention was paid to it. I was amazed. Most of these people were quite educated, the man on my right I handed it to first being a lawyer for example. Then I realized the relativity of things in this world. Because it began to dawn on me that it would far from solve all peoples difficulties...

At other times my friend would say that the circuit would never run out of energy. That is when I thought that he had only told me that the circuit would self-consume, because otherwise the company would not even take it into serious consideration. He also told me that in the beginning he had burned two pc's before figuring out how to control the process. And that it could be misused as a bomb. This argument for not releasing it he brought up recently after writing him about Steorn and Orbo. At least it doesn't look like Orbo could be used as an explosive device...

For reasons you understand I cannot give the name of my friend, nor any other info that would lead anyone to him. It doesn't matter. For now let's patiently wait some more for Steorn's next public move, whatever and whenever that might be. But at least I think I have made clear why I know there are good reasons to believe that they have the goods they say they do. The device I held in my hand while it was spinning a little flywheel without a battery was as real as the screen you are seeing these word on right now.

I gave it back to him at my return to his country, which was some 15 years ago. Think about it. Would you give your first working model of such a discovery away? I am sure my friend want to inherit it to one of his sons. As he told me he would give everything he has made and written to his children.

He believes that one day his discovery will be utilized. Oil will one day be depleted, and by that time his invention will be allowed. Therefore we already realized years ago that as long as he does nothing with it that threatens oil, they will leave him alone. One day they may need what he now keeps developing..

I kept in touch. Sometimes long periods pass between those thouches. I know he can't do anything more right now than continue to develop new things. My interest was of course to help bring his invention as an ecological solution into the world. And we talked about water pumps as well. But the military -who of course jumped on him, and have him work with them- told him that too many water pumps would lower the water table, and cause I don't remember what kind of problems. I told him this was not true, and simply another manoever to keep his invention away from the public, and that to keep the world unaware of his invention. But he is very nationalistic, and the government pampers his ego. He is a bit in a golden &amp;quot;we think you are very important, and you'll be fine, but don't do anything drastic, and consult with us first&amp;quot; cage. I am sure his phone is still tapped, and his email etc.

Besides that he is working with a small company who install solar systems for electricity in rural areas, utilizing his circuit to charge the batteries faster. He is usually working on different projects at the same time.

I certainly wouldn't say that he is not interested in others than his family. He has offered his invention for free to his government. And I can't blame him for caring for his wife and children. I mean, would you tell your wife and kids &amp;quot;Sorry, you are going to die, I don't know how. Maybe a car accident, maybe poison, or a terrible disease, but too bad, daddy has something to give to the world, and that is more important than your lives.&amp;quot;?

For example, the small company he works with could use his circuit to produce more electricity for the rural people, simply by using it as a booster between the battery and the wiring in the houses. But then they would not get the contracts from the government to install solar systems anymore. They would starve to death. The government want to keep a complete lid on it.

I say it again: if oil organizes whole wars, how will they allow something like his to emerge? He can't let out a fart without them knowing about it. And he knows it. Even during conversations in his house he would sometimes say, &amp;quot;Someone is probably listening to us right now.&amp;quot; That's his position. Remember, his is an oil country. He believes that in the future, by the time the oil reserves run low, then maybe...but not now. Plus he doesn't want it to be used for bombs. Or more likely, the military of his country don't want other countries to have it, and tell him that it would be used against his country, or by terrorists, etc. etc.

I can do nothing for his invention anymore. I tried for years, spend a good amount of money, traveled to Europe twice for him, and everytime the government would interfere. I have given up. So what. Let it be...

PS. Just for the record: I am not a scientist nor an engineer, as you must have noticed. Maybe I said something that is impossible, about utilizing his circuit to charge the batteries used with the solar pannels faster. All I remember when I asked my friend's business partner -who heads the small company- why they were using the circuit with the solar pannels, he answered that it made the system more efficient. I don't remember if he said it or if it was my own uneducated guess, but I thought it meant charging the batteries faster. Anyway, who cares. Point is that my friend can bring out nothing serious with his invention. It still makes me a bit sad. And whether you believe my story, or don't believe my friend has what I had in my hands, more power to ye.

if you had a marvelous invention which would end oil, and lived in a developing country which has lots of oil which is for 100% in the governments hands, and who's succesive governments are mostly interested in raking in as much money as fast as possible to have it stashed in Swiss banks before the next govenment takes over -by law every six years but the elections are rigged- and you are constantly being observed by them -which you would be of course- and was made to understand that something unpleasant will happen to your beloved wife and kids if you don't do what your government tells you to, would you still go ahead and try to disseminate your invention, by whatever means, knowing that you are being tapped and observed?

The commander that came to talk to me in the restaurant right after my return from a second trip for this invention to Europe, was one of two agents that had actally moved into the house of the parents in law were my friend lived with his wife right after he had approached the government shortly after making his discovery. Supposedly for his &amp;quot;proteccion.&amp;quot; He told me he had gotten so fed up with them always following him as his &amp;quot;bodyguards&amp;quot; that one night when they were alseep, he left with his wife -he had no kids yet- and went on a holliday to a tourist place at the coast. Everything went fine for two weeks. He felt free! Then he drew money with his ATM card, and the next day, there were his good old buddies again...
